The Opening Night Ceremony features the Parade of Athletes from 22 nations. The event also features the artistic and educational talents of five area performing groups as well as the world debut of the Modern Pentathlon Anthem composed in cooperation with the Del Couch Education Foundation and under consideration for adoption by UIPM as the Official of the Olympic Sport of Modern Pentathlon.
Continues the festivities by fêting our dignitaries and honored guests, Dr. h.c. Klaus Schormann, President of the Union of Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM). This Black Tie affair features a cocktail reception, dinner and dancing to follow by Soul Survivors. (Black Tie Attire)
Throughout the competition, the cultural celebration continues. Through out the weekend Visitors will enjoy the talents of some of the area's best street performers, musicians. They can stroll through the Artistic Showcase featuring the bronze sculptures of Gregg Marra, the kinetic sculptures of Dave Gordon and our "Art of the Pentathlon Exhibit"
Pentathlon Village and the Farm to Table Festival offer a cultural and organic food marketplace where guest can learn more about the area unique offerings. This area also includes several interactive experiences for both children and adults.
